About Our Nursery

We are open for 50 weeks of the year, offering families valuable consistency throughout almost the entire year.

As a small nursery we pride ourselves on creating a warm, homely atmosphere where children feel comfortable, secure, and truly known by our staff team. Located in a beautiful semi-detached Victorian house, the nursery is thoughtfully arranged across two floors with three classrooms each designed to support children’s development.

We provide a nurturing Montessori learning environment for children aged 13 months to 5 years, encouraging independence, curiosity, and a lifelong love of learning.

Our Classrooms

To meet the developmental needs of different ages, our nursery is organised into three classrooms. Each environment is carefully prepared to meet the changing needs of growing children.

Class 1 (13 to 24 months)
A calm, small group space for up to 6 children per day, where children begin to explore safely and confidently. Activities focus on sensory experiences, early movement, and developing independence, while routines provide comfort and security.

Class 2 (2 to 3 years)
Class 2 welcomes up to 12 children per day and enjoys free flow access to our garden. Here children begin to develop independence through practical life activities, language enrichment, and hands-on learning. They are encouraged to help, try new things, and build confidence.
Class 3 (3 to 5 years)
A traditional Montessori classroom where children explore mathematics, literacy, cultural studies, art, and nature. They learn to collaborate, concentrate, and care for their environment. The classroom welcomes up to 17 children per day and has free flow access to our extended outdoor environment
